making things suck less

To go with the sleet and ice we got over the weekend, it started snowing last night after I went to bed and was snowing on my way into work this morning. So far, I guess there’s about a half inch or so of accumulation on the ground. Just enough to close all the schools and make everybody freak out and go really slow on the highways. It also hasn’t made it over the freezing mark since the beginning of the week. Winter has finally arrived.
Update (1/17/07 23:30): ok, so the snow event was completely underwhelming. It had all melted by the time I left work around 4:30pm today.
