reviewboard is fixed

May 24th, 2008 · 1 Comment

If you’ve been trying to get to the reviewboard and haven’t had any luck, you should now be able to get there. I tried to do an upgrade and apparently, the upgrade process failed me, so reviewboard was down nearly a week while I tried to get it back up and running. Hopefully we won’t have any more problems.

Also, if you’re still trying to access reviewboard via http://matt.rogers.name, you’ll need to update your bookmarks to point to http://mattr.info:8080 instead. I lost my domain name when the registrar’s billing system went down around the same time I was supposed to renew my domain, and they refused to answer my emails about getting it renewed.  I had to move the port to 8080 because we have verizon now, and they are either blocking port 80 even though i port forwarded it or there’s something else I forgot to disable.

Most “home” ISPs explicitly disallow running servers. Some go one step higher and block ports. Whine at them.
