new on bugs.kde.org – aliases

I turned on aliases awhile ago on bugs.kde.org. Aliases are a way for people to reference a bug number based on some nice text that is given to the bug rather than by the bug number. You don't have to give every bug an alias, but it seemed like a useful feature to have. If nobody likes it, then we can turn it off, but hopefully people are already using it and i'm just not aware of it. :)

  1. How about getting the tags working? I have seen that bugzilla has some sort of tagging feature in the options.
With involvement in over 500 KDE bugs, this would be very helpful to me.
However, I do not see that enabling it changes anything in my UI. I
tried browsing through the bugzilla documentation, and I found mention
of the feature [1] but there was no other information. Is this feature
disabled in BKO? Are other users using this feature? Am I missing
    something obvious?

  2. Dotan: it’s probably something wrong with our templates. i’ll look into it.
